Description
In 2026, following the retirement of its previous owners, El Rincón del Bacalao reopens with the aim of preserving its tradition and continuing to offer market customers the same quality as always: the finest olives from Spain’s great olive-growing regions —including, of course, Mallorcan olives trencades—; top-quality pickles —including our own fonoll marí—; and the finest salted cod from Iceland, line-caught with a hook. This is complemented by other salt-cured specialities such as anchovies, tuna mojama, ling roe, bonito loins and dried pouting, among others.
As a new addition, the range has been expanded to include a wide selection of premium preserves, gourmet products and the finest accompaniments for the perfect aperitif: vermouth, crisps and exquisite gildas, prepared fresh every day at the stall.
